Interested in a trek

Hi,

The two of us would like to take a 4-6 day trek to Machu Picchu starting on December 24/25. We understand it may be too late to book the Inca trail but we have read that there are alternatives such as Moonstone and Salcantay. We are in very good physical condition and we would like options that give us the most varied scenery and interaction with local people. Can you recommend treks and pricing?

Muchas Gracias,

Matt & Carrie

Dear Matt & Carrie,

Thank you for your email and for your interest in our services.

I confirm you there are no spaces left for those dates in December for the Inca Trail. The only other trek we operate is Salcantay, a 5-day trek that goes from Cusco to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. It is a less archaeological than the Inca Trail but it is closer to local communities.

You will find all the information regarding this trek on our dedicated website: http://www.salcantay.info . The price in eco class is US$ 540 per person, without options and without the night accommodation in Aguas Calientes. All our reservation system is based online, so you can book directly until 15 days before.

Should you need anything else, feel free to contact us again.

Best regards,
